Hoi! I'm an Environmental Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and the Harvard University Center for the Environment, where my research focuses on designing decarbonized energy systems. I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich and a dual masters from MIT in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and Technology & Policy. I completed my B.S.E. in Civil & Environmental Engineering at Princeton University, where I was a member of the International Food Co-Op. Originally from rural Texas, I've spent time in DC, San Francisco, Germany, Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco. The last few years in Switzerland have made me a strong advocate for good public transit and walkable communities. I enjoy hiking in the mountains, strength training, and stumbling my way through the diglossias of Arabic and German.
