The Dudley Orchestra is thrilled to invite you to join us for our spring concert! Included on the program is Claude Debussy’s Rondes de Printemps, one of the great modernist’s final statements in the orchestral medium, the effulgent Piano Concerto no. 23 in A major of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with soloist Daniel Walden, and Robert Schumann’s buoyant Symphony no. 1 in Bb major - a work understood by the composer to be a poetic evocation of spring’s coming. We have organized a tour of our (sewage) wastewater treatment plant Deer Island. It is in the Boston Harbor and looks like a carton of eggs :) Deer Island is considered one of the best treatment plants in the U.S.
The Deer Island Wasterwater Treatment Plant which treats 365 million gallons of wastewater from the greater Boston area every day.
