Known for reinvigorating the street-dance community in Philadelphia, Raphael Xavier is an alumnus of the groundbreaking hip-hop dance company Rennie Harris Puremovement and a recent recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship. After breakdancing for 32 years, he presents a new work, Point of Interest, that challenges the highly physical art form and the viewer’s perception of hip-hop as being solely associated with youth.

The World Music Ensemble is inviting you to its Spring Performance. This semester we concocted a very diverse set of music from everywhere in the world. Pakistan, Italy, Ireland, Indonesia, West African inspired original creations, Israel, and an original Piece. The performance will be held in Dudley House, and the concert will start at 8.
