Walk for Hunger

Date:

Sunday, May 7, 2017, 8:30am to 3:00pm

See also: public service

Location:

Boston

Dudley House Public Service will proudly participate again this year in the Walk for Hunger charity fundraising event on May 7th. Join us as a Walker, sponsor, or both in the largest public fundraising walk in the commonwealth!

Every May, over 40,000 people walk through Greater Boston, earning the pledges they’ve collected to support Project Bread’s fresh approach to ending hunger in our state. Together, we raise awareness of the reality of hunger, make a powerful statement about our shared commitment to help people in need, and, importantly, raise funds that make it possible to develop, sustain, and facilitate much-needed programs that provide hope. You you have a chance to be an example of what's possible when we join forces to create, advocate for, and support meaningful change. In the past 46 years, the Walk has generated more than a hundred million dollars through individual contributions of less than $100 - a powerful demonstration of neighbors caring for neighbors

You can both join in our team and make donations on our team website (only donation is good too!). Register on the website and join Harvard Dudley House 17
Please RSVP to dudleypublicservice@gmail.com by May 4th if you’d like to walk with us!
