Dudley Outings

Learn about upcoming Outings events with Dudley House! We explore Boston and the rest of New England in all seasons with events like hiking trips, ski trips, sports games, cultural events, and city tours, to name a few.

Museum of Fine Arts Boston

Join us at the Museum of Fine Arts' First Friday event! Enjoy fine art, good company, music, and cash bars with cocktails and tapas for purchase. Meet us at 5:30 pm in front of Dudley House to head over together, or join us directly at the museum. All Harvard students get free admission at the the event with their student ID. Guest tickets are $25.

Boston Bruins vs. Minnesota Wild



TD Garden

Come watch the Boston Bruins face off against the Minnesota Wild at TD Garden! This Eastern vs Western conference matchup will take place on Tuesday, October 28 at 7pm. Limited tickets are available! Tickets will go on sale on Monday October 20 at the third floor office of Dudley House. Ticket cost is $75 (group discount price); Dudley House members may bring a guest. Mt. Auburn Cemetery Tour



Mt. Auburn Cemetery

Come explore the serene and historic grounds of the Mount Auburn Cemetery,  under the expert guidance of Dudley House Administrator, and Mt Auburn Docent, Susan Zawalich. Not only a resting place for American luminaries such as Henry Wadsworth Longfellow and Isabella Stewart Gardner, Mt Auburn is also an arboretum and bird-watchers’ paradise. Meet at Dudley House at 12:30 pm for a short bus trip to the cemetery. Cost: round-trip bus fare. No need to sign-up beforehand -- just show up & go!

Apple Picking Outing

Honey Pot Hill Orchard, Stow MA

Indulge in a traditional New England past-time: picking your own apples and pumpkins! We will head to Honey Pot Hill Orchards in Stow, MA, departing from Harvard at 10am. Honey Pot Hill not only has a farmstand with fall favorites, but it also boasts two Hedge Mazes to test your wits, including the 1.5 mile “Green Monster Maze”! Tickets cost $15 and are on sale starting Oct 2 in Dudley House 3rd floor (cash/check only)! Dudley House members may bring guests. Lion King (musical)

Boston Opera House

Experience the phenomenon: The Lion King (musical) is coming to Boston! Based on the Disney animated film with the beloved soundtrack of Elton John, this musical is a visually stunning and technically astounding performance that you will not want to miss.

We are going the October 9 showing at 7:30 in the Boston Opera House. Tickets are $55 and for sale on Tuesday Sept. 23 at 9am in the 3rd floor office of Dudley House. The tickets are for Balcony, rows P-R. Dudley House members may bring one guest.

Join our annual retreat to the White Mountains for fall foliage and scenic hiking trails that range from challenging to leisurely in beautiful New Hampshire. Whale Watch (SOLD OUT)



Meet in front of Dudley

Thousands of tourists flock to Boston each fall to see these majestic animals. See what the fuss is about yourself on a Whale Watch outing on September 21! We will leave from Dudley House at 12:45pm. Cost: $25, plus T fare. Tickets are on sale on August 27 at Dudley Fest and in the Dudley House office after that date. Dudley members may bring a guest (please bring your Harvard ID).
