How to Get Involved in Outdoors Activities

Do you love the outdoors? Want to know how to get involved in outdoors trips and activities while at Harvard? The outings and athletics fellows are offering an array of outdoors programming, from hikes, to bike rides, to skiiing (downhill and cross country). This may not satiate outdoor enthusiasts for all of their favourite activities. While we cannot offer trips for more extreme sports, we can be a resource for helping direct you to clubs in the area that allow you to get your adrenaline rush (rock climbing, ice climbing, whitewater kayaking, surfing, etc) and for putting students with similar interests in touch with each other. Contact the outings and athletics fellows about the outdoor activities you dream about; if we can't organize it, at least we can put you in touch with others of the same inclination!

You can also refer to this page as a resource guide for outdoors participation in the Cambridge/Boston area. Future postings here may direct you to specific activities that might be of interest, so check back soon!
