We are what we eat. But what do we know about what we eat? Come and join the Food Literacy Project in a real farm experience on October 25 to find out for yourself!
Grooming a pony, feeding sheep, harvesting crops, milking a cow, and more! We will go on a trip to a farm that is about 45 minutes' drive away to find out. During the 3-hour program, which the farm specially designed for us, we will experience some fun farm work and learn tremendously from the farmers about New England farming and food production.
The ticket costs $20 (we lowered it from $25 after some negotiation with the farm), including the program and transportation. You can buy one more ticket to bring a non-Harvard-affiliated guest. We will leave the campus at 1PM and arrive back no later than 6PM. Tickets are on sale now in the 3rd-floor office of Dudley House.
